Round up 10th May 2017

April round-up

What's been happening at Immersive VR HQ?

Our first VR game!

Our first game has been greenlit on the Steam store! Primal Reign is an epic VR battle between WW2 soldiers and dinosaurs in an Ancient Egyptian tomb. Sounds crazy? Anything’s possible in VR. Primal Reign should be available to download soon. In the meantime, follow its Facebook page for live updates.

University of Suffolk

The University of Suffolk 360 app, built in-house, has been making the rounds at UCAS fairs up and down the country – giving prospective students a 360° taste of the courses, campus and student lifestyle at the uni. The app will be available on the App store and Google Play very soon.

Dr. Martens in-store experience

We’re proud to support Dr. Martens in their striking new flagship store in Camden. Powered by Oculus, we created ‘Made in England’ – an in-store virtual tour of the Cobbs Lane Factory, where the Made in England range is crafted using the same techniques that were used to create the very first pair of DMs. Head to the store, put on a VR headset and experience the 360 tour around the factory floor.

We've grown and moved!

We’ve been joined by two new faces – Lorna, Head of Content, and Ben, Back-end Developer. With backgrounds in advertising, marketing and editorial, Lorna and Ben bring years of experience of working alongside the likes of Aviva, Barclays, Barclaycard, Mazda, Pret and Feld Entertainment to the team. As a result we’ve moved into our new bigger and brighter studio! You can now find us on Floor 2 of the Union Building, Rose Lane, Norwich.
