  • Middleweight Digital Designer

    View job description

Immersive Studios are on the hunt for a creative design genius to join our team on a permanent basis. If a chilled out culture with a flexible approach to working hours, multiple perks and a host of global brand clients appeals to you – read on.

    What will you be doing?
Working under the guidance of our Creative Director and alongside our experienced team of creatives you’ll be responsible for the digital design output of the studio. You’ll be working on a huge range of projects from UI for fully interactive virtual reality experiences, wireframing and designing interfaces for augmented reality applications, creating incredible looking pitch decks and presentations and creative design for video games! You’ll be actively involved in ideas generation for new and existing clients and given the time and space to work on your own concepts.

    What are we looking for?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual with exceptional creative digital design skills – one who isn’t afraid to get stuck in, who’s imaginative and enthusiastic about design, UX and creative technology. You’ll be part of our wider team but you’ll often work alone so you need to be able to stay motivated and focussed. Our ideal candidate will have commercial experience in a digital design role either agency of client-side. Our projects are varied, so adaptability and creative problem solving skills are a must.

    What skills do you need?
    Excellent digital design skills
A good understanding of User Interface and User Experience
Artworking skills to develop and present concepts
The ability to produce app and film ready assets

    Bonus Points
Knowledge or experience of motion graphics
Experience in a creative technology role
    A love of immersive tech

    Key attributes
Flexibility - the ability to take feedback on board and adapt to it in a positive way

Communication - good communication is essential in this role, both to express your ideas and to help keep projects running smoothly.

Adaptability - one minute you’ll be working on the UI for an AR app for a household brand, the next you could be asked to produce key visuals for a new business deck - therefore you’ll need to be able to adapt and use your skills across a wide range of design projects.
